Thanks to Danny Reagan and Cam...the Yellow Hammer blogger for some much needed answers:

Speaking of Snyder ...

... and Wylie and Sweetwater ... our Rotan blogger, Cam Tovias, has filled me in on the complexities of the playoff implications in District 4-3A.

Cam, who is a big Yellowhammer supporter, grew up in Sweetwater, so he's "a Mustang at heart."

According to Cam, if Sweetwater and Wylie win out - forcing a 3-way tie - Sweetwater wins the district on points (+10 on Snyder, -6 on Wylie for a total of +4).

Wylie would have +6 on Sweetwater, -4 on Snyder for a total of +2.

Snyder would finish third (-10 on Sweetwater, +4 on Wylie for a total of -6).

However, all three teams would make the playoffs - Wylie in Division I, and Sweetwater and Snyder in Division II.

If you recall, Snyder was in Division I last year as champion out of District 3-3A, and the Bulldogs (District 6-3A winner) edged the Tigers, 18-6, in the quarterfinals. Wylie lost the next week to Gainesville, 37-24.
