Run Mustangs Run

Today, I want to talk about why Sweetwater will out gain Snyder in the rushing department Friday, which is a big indication why I feel Sweetwater will win Friday Night. Much has been said already about playing on natural grass and somehow, that's an advantage to Snyder. This is the most absurd reasoning I have heard yet. Am I supposed to believe that grass slows down people that much? Am I to think that grass slows down one team and not the other? Ridiculous!

Let's look at some tangible facts.
For all intense and purposes, Snyder has 2 running backs:
Walker with 2135 yards this season and Brown with 296.

Sweetwater has 6 runing backs:
Thompson/1132 yards, Carrillo/567 yards, Banyard/497 yards, Copeland/413 yards, Green/407 yards, Clowers/146 yards.

Logic would say the more running backs running the ball, the less likely that team gets tired.

Walker has had a great season. So have the Mustangs.
But I contend the Mustangs have fresher legs, and they will proove once again why Sweetwater will win this game, regardless of what kind of field they play on. In fact, look for Snyder to tire out first...couple that with the exceptional speed of the Mustangs, and this could be an early knockout for the red team from Sweetwater.

**Note: The backfield for the Mustangs ran the 4 X 100 Relays in track last year. They won district and regionals in track by the way....can you say "Beep Beep"?
