It should be a good game tonight.
I see in the Lubbock paper where the Cooper team is getting ready for tonight's game saying not much has changed with the Mustang team since week 1 when Cooper defeated the Mustangs 17-14.
They make it sound as though it would have been much worse but due to some leg cramps by their team, they sort of "let up" on our boys.
The only opponent that has played both Sweetwater and Lubbock Cooper is Snyder.
Snyder defeated Lubbock Cooper 20-14.
Sweetwtaer defeated Snyder 35-25.
I guess we will all see after tonight if Mr. Langston is correct when he says that Sweetwater will "run it down our throats." But remember, speed kills. I would be watching the sweeps.
By the way, for the entire season, Sweetwater has outscored opponents 373 to 155. Sweetwater is the number one team in the big country in rushing with 3006 yards. They finished the top rushing team in probably the toughest class 3A districts in Texas.
