Last week: Sweetwater beat Pecos 51-14; Levelland lost to Canyon 45-21

Keep an eye on: Sweetwater, RB Skye Green (464 rushing yards and 134 receiving yards this fall); Levelland, WR Justin Turner (13 receptions for 256 yards this season)

Key stats: Sweetwater ranks first among area Class 3A teams with 411.5 yards of total offense per game. Levelland's defense ranks second-to-last, having allowed an average of 319.2 yards per game.

Keys to the game: Sweetwater must be wary of Levelland's passing attack, because Turner and Shelton Taft have combined for 521 receiving yards. Levelland likely will need to start strong to have a chance against the Mustangs, who have outscored opponents 211-34.

Wheeeeh!!! This is one Mustang fan that was sweating bullets. Hard to believe this game. However, it just proves you can't overlook anybody. Let's learn from this and move on.
