Blogosphere, west Texas style

Dear Mustangs,

I consider myself fortunate to be able to have my office at home. I am fortunate that much of my work is done on-line, which enables me to be able to write a few web logs or blogs as they are called. I work for a company and I have a side business that also is on-line related. Here is the link to my business website and a list of sports blogs that I write:

www.fwtabc.com

http://journals.aol.com/lrpatton/SportsBarBuffet/

http://journals.aol.com/lrpatton/DallasCowboys/

http://journals.aol.com/lrpatton/KatrinaUSA/

http://journals.aol.com/lrpatton/DallasMavericks/

The reason I mention this is because I enjoy blogging. It doesn't take any money, anyone can do it, and I find if I write things down, (or type things down in this case) it helps me better organize things. You notice that each of the above blogs has a title. Each of those titles has different topics within those titles that are RELATED to the title. In other words, when I write in one of my blogs, I try to make the topic related to the name of the Blog. Now sometimes I will put something on a blog that maybe isn't related to that blog name, but it isn't too extreme.

I have seen some blogs and websites that are confusing to me. Let me explain what I mean by that. If you wanted to see my Cowboys blog, I wouldn't put on that blog that I had a tooth pulled that day, unless I was comparing a Cowboy's defensive lineman knocking a tooth out of a quarterback's mouth and how it might feel the same.

If you clicked on my Dallas Maverick's blog, you could read about the Dallas Mavericks. You wouldn't see anything about how people in Mexico were trying to cope with a hurricane.

I love reading different blogs. Heck, I read more on the computer than watch TV. There is some really good writing talent out in the blogosphere. There are some sites I just wouldn't waste my time to click on.

Have a great weekend!

Lew
