Final Thoughts before game time

Dear Mustangs,

My final entry before you board the bus.

This game is against yours (and every Mustang's) worst rival.

This game is in Snyder.

Play hard, play tough, but remember, you can smash mouths with class.

Play clean, play tough. This is YOUR game.

Remember, you are playing for a lot of things. When you come back to Sweetwater in 10-15 years, and you look at YOUR high school annual, the first page you will go to is the SNYDER game. You will make history tonight.

Go MUSTANGS!!!!!!!!!!!

He Lew do you know the series, between Snyder and Sweetwater, for as wins losses and ties? All I know is this is our biggest rivalry, since I was in seventh grade and will always be.

I saw that number some time ago, and it seems to me that Sweetwater holds a substanial edge. But bear in mind this series goes way back to when Snyder had dirt roads as Hwy 84...lolol Just kidding.

In the moderne era, say 1980 to now, it's probably been pretty even. I think (without any documentation I might add) that the lopsided edge occured pre-1980's?
