Dear Mustangs,
I have an idea and would like ya'lls comments.
As ya'll know, there will be many of you traveling to Snyder Friday night.
What if everyone could meet at the old Midway Drive-in at 5:00 PM Friday, out on west Broadway for the Mustang Caravan.I would recommend call the Texas Department of Pulic Safety and see if there are any troopers that could escort the caravan over to Snyder? Everyone turn their lights on, have Mustang windshield flags....ya know, all roll into to Snyder at once with a DPS escort. It would be awesome!!!!

I, for one, LOVE that idea. Only thing is some people won't be able to leave that early.

Thanks for your comment.
Let me make a few suggestions.
1) Use a day of vacation
2) Call in sick that day.
3) Claim you had a bad lunch...claim sickness after lunch.
4) Express to your boss that it's a religous afternoon and you need off before the sun goes down.
5) Ask your boss if he has ever heard of the Sweetwtaer Mustangs. Explain it's your civic duty to attend.
6) Ask the Mayor of Sweetwater to circulate a petition that Friday is "Beat Snyder Day" and everyone has Friday afternoon off. All the businesses will be instructed to close.
7) Tell your boss your dog ate this week's work schedule and you forgot to come back to work after lunch.
C'mon guys...it's SNYDER! Make arrangements!

As much as I ache to make the trip to see the Mighty Mustangs defeat the Tigers, no, I can't make this one. Unfortunately, I have a full plate here in Fort Worth. I will be there in spirit though....maybe next time...for sure the playoffs.

I work for Ludlums. A great company that would let me take off at 8:00am if I wanted to. I can still be creative with excuses though. Like, my brothers, sisters, mothers dog ate some bad table scraps and I need to take it to the vet for a rabies shot. Sorry to hear you can't be there. Should be a good one. GO RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost bet this game is the biggest rivalry game in Texas. Who cares about the rest.

PROBABLY SO, IT WAS IN THE LATE 60'S FOR SURE. I HAVE A LOT OF RELATIVES WHO LIVE IN THE SNYDER AREA. MAYBE WILL SEE SOME TONIGHT.
IF THERE IS A BIGGER ONE DON'T KNOW OF IT.. I HOPE IT IS JUST A HARD FOUGHT, WELL PLAYED GAME ON BOTH SIDES. AND TO THE VICTOR GOES THE SPOILS.
