Wow!

What a game! Sweetwater goes to Snyder and claims Redemption by defeating the Hated Rival Snyder Tigers 17-6!

I listened to the game on the internet and it was so exciting. Let's give a shout out to some unsung heroes. Justin Rodriquez who scooped up a fumble and ran way back in the Snyder end of the field. From there, my man the Batman, Joseph Banyard ran it in for the first score 7-0.

Both sides of the lines for Sweetwater absolutely dominated Snyder tonight. How about a shout out to Britt Glover at his right guard position? Banyard had plenty of room on the right side of the line. I'm surprised we didn't run that off guard/tackle play more often because they had had no answer for Mr. Glover.

Sweetwater goes in at the half with a 10-0 lead.

The 3rd quarter started and we went 3 and out...and then the ball game was decided. Matt Reigh the Snyder quarterback fumbled the exchanged from center and the Mustangs recovered. From there, Sweetwater used the remaining 3rd quarter on a 60 yard drive resulting in a Joseph Banyard 4th down touchdown. Sweetwater led 17-0 with 11:00 left in the game.

Snyder got the ball back and had to use a trick play (of course) to get a first down off of a fake punt. Then there was a pass interference call against the Stangs in the end zone to give the Tigers a 1st and goal from the 1 and they eventually scored to make it 17-6. The two point conversion was no good. I wonder if Snyder has a kicker?

4:11 left in the game.....we need to run the ball. Looking at an on-side kick and Snyder was off sides, we take the ball and need a couple of first downs and chew the clock up. Auston Davis got 9 1/2 yards. 2nd down, Banyard for a first down at the 43 yard line FIRST DOWN....run clock run. Time out Snyder, 3:30 left in the game. I'm typing as the game is going can you tell??LOLOL I am so loving this!!!!!

We just need 1 more 1st down. Clock running, Skye Green hit hard...
Gained 7 yards!

Skye Green again...short gain, clock running. 2:36 left, 3rd down and 4 at the Snyder 36 yard line.
Snyder called timed out...we weren't ready and WE had to call a time out. Coach Jackson looks livid.
Pitch to Joseph Banyard....1 1/2 yards shy of a first down...4th down...we got to go for it...has a first down!!!!! WAY TO GO BATMAN!!!!!! Snyder uses their last time out.

1st and 10 Snyder 30 yard line ..HUH???? WE PASS THE BALL????? SNYDER INTERCEPTS?????? What are we thinking?????????????????????????

Snyder has the first down at their 30??????????????????????????????

Matt Reigh runs a keeper 1:10 left and Snyder at their own 40. Under a minute to play. Next play incomplete. 57 seconds left in the game.
Shotgun Reigh....we got him in the backfield!!!!! 4th down and 9 for Snyder...penalty..off side.

4th and 13 Snyder. Clock running with 30 seconds....We sack Reigh!!!!! We sacked Reigh!!!!!!!

BALLGAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
