Right turn, Clyde

Next opponent, Clyde Bulldogs.
Does anyone remember that old Clint Eastwood movie where Clint travels around with that cute orangutan named Clyde? Everytime Clint would say "right turn, Clyde", the orangutan would make his hand into a fist and give like a right hand turn....it was so funny, sometimes the over-sized monkey would knock bad guys out by just giving the right turn signal.
I don't know what that has to do with the Clyde Bulldogs, but I digress.
Clyde is coming off of a bye week. They should be well rested since the Snyder game on October 7th. Clyde lost to Snyder 42-6. No way will the Mustangs beat Clyde that badly because there will probably be some letdown after the huge win the Mustangs had against Snyder.
No one wants to admit this, but the real chance of a let down is something Coach Kent Jackson is going to try to avoid this week. Just win this game against Clyde, do the bye week, then finish the regular season against Merkel. Should be a task that gets handled pretty well. Right turn, Clyde.

What a great win over Snyder the team that some folks call the #1 team in the state. Enjoy it but let's get ready to close out the rest of the schedule. This can be the desert IF we prepare properly, stay focused and play up to our capabilities. This Mustang team is GOOD. I know it and you know it. We just have to play like it. Can't you just taste that State Championship? Let's not stumble now. On to State!!! We believe in you.

Mustangs should handle-up pretty well against the bulldogs.
