Let's talk Mustangs..........

From all indications, it appears the mindset of the Mustangs this week is going to be good.
I don't think anyone is taking Littlefield for granted. I don't think anyone is looking past this Friday. I do think that Sweetwater feels confident if they play within themselves, that they have a great chance of winning Friday. Frankly it sounds and feels like the Mustangs are just about as good as it gets heading into Friday. That statement in itself could be deterimental, but I think the Mustangs are sitting perfect, if that's possible.
Unless something really screwy happens, I think the Mustangs are good to go. Let's keep the momentum going. Let's keep it all in perspective.
I might mention in another bracket game Iowa Park and Little Elm will be playing right up the road from me Friday night at Saginaw Boswell. The winner of this game will be the Mustang's next opponent. I'm sure I'll have much more info on that game than the Littlefield game because it's so much closer. Last week, Little Elm defeated Whitney 44-32, and Iowa Park defeated Pilot Point 27-13. So this should be a pretty good match up.
Check back on Friday morning for my picks for Region I Div II games. They might surprise you!

Will you get to go or listen to the iowa park/littlefield game? If so I could give you my cell number for updates.
Any word from J.B.? Just wondering how he's doing.

I am researching finding a radio channel to tune into the Iowa Park/Little Elm game. I will hopefully have that game on the radio, and have my internet going and listening to KXOX for the Mustang game at the same time because I get to report the Mustang score to GoFridayNight.com so the rest of the state can see our score.
I have not heard from J.B.
Looking forward to him posting again.

Thanks for asking, Guy. To all the others who my be interested. It was a tough old go but I am out of the hospital for a few days. Don't want to prolong this. This is about Mustang Football. They took out a section of the colon along with a nasty polyp. Ran into some Urology problems so will have to go back and get that fixed.
Now about my Mustangs: They did good against Midland so let's keep it rolling.
great team!!! Great coaching!!!! Great fans!!!.
Littlefield can be tough but they are going down this week.
