"You had to be there to experience the emotions of that game---from high to low and in between! We were down 21-7 with about 5 minutes left on the clock. Those boys just put their heads down and made it happen. Then the interception in OT put ole 'MO on our side for the win. Absolutely awesome!
Hats off to IP---they had a really good team. I'd hate to be in their shoes and see your season go up in smoke right before your eyes. We almost were in that position, but we proved that we can never give up!

I have been nervous awaiting these results. All evening the score has been Sweetwater 7 IP 0. Don't know why there were no updates. Anyway we know now that the 'Stangs can win against a BIG team. Way to go Mustangs. Big Red Machine roll on!!!!

Oh I bet that the sun came up nice and beautiful this morning in Sweetwater. What a place! What a team! What a great coaching staff! It was one of those games that you cinch your helmet down tight, defy the odds and find a way not to lose. Let's have a street dance in Sweetwater. Way to go Mustangs!!!
Made this old Sweetwater ex proud and you should be proud of yourself. Your have that right.

Thanks for this blog and keeping us informed ! I had hoped to attend the game in Stephenville , but was unable to . Now , I am "dreaming" of the game in Midland with Monahans . The fact is , I'll miss that one too . I guess that the Abilene Reporter is still having difficulty with updates for the games .
I noticed that J B , also had difficulty getting updates this past Friday night .
Regardless , MUSTANGS we are behind you ! Any "W" is a good "W" ! Continue playing as a TEAM and support each other !
