Hey Mustang Fans,
I thought I might do something a little different this week. I want to research everything about the Mustangs next opponent Iowa Park. First of all, Iowa Park is about 10 miles west of Wichita Falls. Here is their City website.
I think Coach Jackson has a very good point. Let's have fun with this. Let's find out everything we can find about Iowa Park Texas. I have already tried to find a newspaper in the town but to no avail. The closest newspaper appears to be in Wichita Falls, and of course there isn't anything about Iowa Park ir the football team. Guess we will keep searching. This should be alot of fun.

Thnaks for the info on Iowa Park, Lew. It is not really important, Lew, but my son played for the Denver City Mustangs. It was AA ball in those days and they went all the way to the state semi-finals undefeated. Along the way they met a real good Iowa Park team and defeated them in San Angelo. Just an interesting side-light. Now my Sweetwater Mustangs encounter the Hawks many years later.
Congratulations to the 'Stangs on the great win over Littlefield. You and Coach Jackson are so right about enjoying the run. This is your time, Mustangs. Enjoy it!!! You have already accomplished much, Be proud of yourselves. Prepare well and reach for as much as you can achieve. We are proud of you.

Lew, any word on Iowa Park's record? Who have they played? How many won and how many lost? They have to be good to have gotten this far. Someone told me Little Elm had a better record. Maybe they are peaking at a good time for them.
I am proud of our record. Again, if we play our best, bring 'em on.
