Sweetwater running back Skye Green (22) escapes Monahans defensive back Cole Cornelius (5) for a 21-yard touchdown in the first quarter of the Mustangs’ 35-16 win in Friday’s Class 3A Division II state quarterfinal playoff game at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland.

How sweet it is!!!!! I remember seeing Skye Green as a Sophomore against Snyder. I was impressed. I turned to my wife and said, "that kid has a set of wheels under him." Look at that picture. He cuts like Lenny Moore. Way to go Mustangs!!! On to State.

its great the mustangs are in semi-finals. i hope the next game is not played at texas stadium. there are too many state of the art high school stadiums in metroplex that would provide a high school atmosphere. i think texas staium is too big, too sterile and does not provide a high school atmosphere.
but good luck and no matter where its played, i will be there.

Editor's Note:

Birdville ISD (North Fort Worth) has an awesome facility...only about 20 minutes from me too!

I was hoping Birdville , Pennington or UTA-Maverick Stadium , but I did not get to vote either ! Hopefully , the Mustangs will not be distracted by the location of this playoff game .

I hope so too Tom.

I vote for Rose Stadium in Tyler. You could get a nice trip to beautiful East Texas. You would enjoy it.

Editor's note...

Yes, Tyler is a nice town. We visited that house that they were giving away over there. It was awesome.
