Tatum is ahead of Canton 45-21......4th Quarter...I'm calling this a Tatum win...
So maybe I can finally see the Stangs LIVE!!!!! Woooooo Hoooooooo!!!

P.S. I found this post from a Canton fan that was at the game....
"I was at the game. It was the worst game I have ever witnessed in my life. I know the majority of the posts are going to be directed at us for the Canton players' actions at the end of the game, but both teams had their hand in this one. I saw a lot of late hits, a lot of shoving, and a lot of jawing from the Tatum players for 3 quarters. The Canton kids did finally lose it in the 4th and started retaliating. It wasn't right. I'm very disgusted in the way the game turned out for us tonight. I would like to congratulate the Canton Eagles on a tremendous season. I want to thank all of the seniors for everything they have done for this team. Ya'll have laid the groundwork for another great season to come next year. The refs tonight were the worst I have ever witnessed in my life, there seemed to be a lot of confusion on their part. There were some refs posting on smoaky who also agreed on this."

Anybody heard when and where the Sweetwater vs. Tatum game will be played? Just wondering. Let's go Red Keep that Big Red Machine Rolling!!!!

other east texas teams have played canton this year, and believe me, THEY are the ones with reputation for dirty football -- they simply played a team that didn't put up with their bullcrap and the end of the game speaks for itself -- when none of cantons ploys worked, they just totally lost their cool and showed their behavior problems on the field -- tatum is aggressive but they are not dirty

I would have to agree with your comments. Canton just had a pure meltdown in the 4th quarter. Tatum has a lot of speed and will hit you, but they do not play dirty. Just hard hitting football.

i have never seen such a disgrace to any town and team as the canton coach displayed. i wouldn't want this person to be a role model for a goat much less my child.it's a good thing he has the sympathy of the people in the area otherwise he would be out of a job..the man is a moron and should be barred from the u.i.l...what a jerk. he is the laughin stock of the district

Does anyone know who is favored to win the Sweetwater/Tatum game? I've heard that Tatum is tough. Sweetwater has really proven themselves this year though...ought to be a great game. Can't wait to go!! In response to an earlier post, the game is at 6pm on Saturday in Texas Stadium, but I'm sure you have heard that by now.

I'm tired of hearing the wining and crying. Tatum just plain out-played Canton. I won't give my opinion of Canton's coach or players, but I will say that by the rules of the game, Coach Kinne should have been ejected from the game for coming on to the field out past the numbers, not once, but twice.................Anyway, on to this week. LET'S GO TATUM EAGLES, ALL THE WAY TO STATE
