Sweetwater @ Big Spring

Forget what happened to Big Spring last week against Abilene Wylie.

Just get it out of your minds. Wylie defeated Big Spring 52-14 at Wylie.

There are some key differences this week as compared to last week at Wylie.

1) The game will be played at Big Spring, and it's also their Homecoming.
2) The big offensive/defensive tackle, Rick Nunez (6-7, 280, 5.4). is playing this week. He didn't play in the Wylie game.
3) QB Ryan Tannehill has had another week to mend. He did play about half of the game at reciever against Wylie. He should get even more playing time this week. Will it be at QB? Who knows? The jury is still out, and the Big Spring paper hasn't posted a sports story all week.

Here is an article from the Abilene Reporter News about Tannehill:

So, there are some unknown factors heading into the game for the Mustangs. This should be another "ball control" game for the Stangs so they don't have to see too much of the aforementioned Big Spring athletes. Sweetwater has done a very good job of time of possession it seems. It was certainly paramount last week against Canyon.

I really don't feel anything will jump out and scare the Mustangs, but I don't think it will be 50-14 either...somewhere in-between.
