Time for Wylie

Stop me if you've heard this before.
Sweetwater and Wylie are tied for the district lead.
The Mustangs head to Abilene Friday night to take on the Wylie Bulldogs.
We may as well get used to this for many seasons to come.
Sweetwater will be in 3A for awhile, and Wylie, well, let's just say they are to 4A the
way Superman loves kryptonite.
But for whatever the reasons, Sweetwater and Wylie tee it up again this week.
I think one of the things most folks will overlook this week is something that is very important
to each team. The coaches. Coach Sandifer at Wylie has always gotten the Bulldogs ready to play. Wylie has replaced a good portion of their team from last year, but it's hard to see
any of that now that district play is here.
But here is a news flash. I believe Coach Jackson is ready to go into high gear also.
I would imagine there was a good reason that alot of A team players have only played 1/2 of the games this year so far. Coach Jackson has kept his team fresh, while giving some needed playing time to the subs. Look for the Mustangs to unveil alot of new wrinkles this week. Things that Coach Sandifer may not have seen on tape. See? That's what a good coach should do...wait until Christmas to unwrap the good presents.
This game will be fun to watch. Last year, several Mustangs were hurt and didn't get to play. It will be somewhat different this year. I'm thinking even though the Bulldogs are a great team, I have to support my team. Of course I am going to predict the Mustangs to win also.
