Random thoughts about Saturday's scrimmage

Just going through and reading some different entries from the Pony Express about last Saturday's Mustangs scrimmage.
From our old pal Jay Laughlin:
"Yeah, scores tell very little in a scrimmage. How they hit, react, read on defense and how they seem to absorb the defense. Several other factors are more import this early. Anyway, thanks for the report. Thanks again."
And this from Go Big Red:
"As long as they are coming together as a team the score isn't important. If the starters appeared to have been pushed all over the field then it may have been a different matter. Sounds like all went well. Stay dry! Another hurricane in the gulf which will eventually blow through the area with more rain."
I think fans can thank the coaching staff once again for getting the Mustangs prepared for the season. I can't wait.
