Gorman High School: K’Ann Howard

Rank: Valedictorian

Parents: Rev. John Howard and Charlotte Howard

Grade average: 4.11

Future plans: Attend Tarleton State University and pursue a career in music or nursing.

School activities/honors: PALS, Texas Music Educators Association vocal, solo ensemble, band, National Honor Society.

What will you remember best about high school: Between the amazing faculty and students, it is hard to narrow it down to only memory. But if I had to choose one, I’d say I’ll best remember the dual credit classes I took through Western Texas College.

What advice do you have for underclassmen: No matter what situations you experience, never allow the circumstances to get in the way of determination and success and always strive to do your very best. Know also that whenever you face tough times, take them to God and he will see you through.
