Stamford High School: Meghan Leigh Dollar

Rank: Valedictorian

Parents: John Dollar and Jeannie Joiner

Grade average: 98.91

Future plans: Attend Texas A&M University and major in business administration. After I graduate, I plan to open my own business.

School activities/honors: Honors and Activities: Band, FCCLA president, Student Council, solo and ensemble competition: Division I, STAR Events: sixth place regional.

What will you remember best about high school: Playing at football games and cheering my team on with my friends. I loved playing "Final Countdown" at the end of every game. Last year, I would always let the drum major play my flute while I directed the song.

What advice do you have for underclassmen: Knowing when it’s time to goof off and when it’s time to work is an important lesson everyone needs to learn before they graduate. It’s also important to remember that you can have fun and get the job done at the same time.
