COWBOYS HAVE TOUGH TEST ON SUNDAY NIGHT

September 19, 2008
To keep the "perfect season" alive the Dallas Cowboys will have to go to one of the most storied stadiums in all of sports and beat a pretty good team - the Green Bay Packers.
The last time Dallas went to Green Bay they lost. Vinnie Testaverde (1986 Heisman Trophy Winner) was the QB and Tony Romo held two FGs and two PATs. He'll have a little bit different role this Sunday night on national TV.
The one positive about Brett Favre being gone is that we knocked him out of the game against GB last year and saw Rodgers for the majority of the time. He picked us apart and almost led a great comeback, but we weren't prepared for his arm or mobility...we will be on Sunday.
A short week coming off an emotional win against a division rival is definitely working against us...but these are the kind of moments we need to show the country that we're a Super Bowl Championship team.
I'm calling for Tony Romo to be well-protected and have a huge game in his home state. He's really down playing that fact, but you know he's got to be thinking about it. His first start in Wisconsin since high school.
Even with a loss, though, keep in mind the Chargers are 0-2...could be worse.
My prediction - Cowboys 31 Packers 24
