WILL WIN HURT ABILENE HIGH'S RANKING?

I don't think so...voters (like it even matters anyway) will take the rivalry aspect of the game into consideration.

Rivalry games are always just a little different than a game between two good teams. There are so many other factors in play.

The bottom line is: Abilene High won - they shouldn't drop. Cooper lost to the Class 5A No. 5 Team...they shouldn't drop either. They might, but should definitely be in the top 10.
