Former Wylie QB Case Keenum had his worst game of the year Tuesday night at Marshall. Pretty good when your "worst" game is 317 yards through the air and two TDs.

Keenum is second in the nation in passing yards and 16th in efficiency.

There was a horrible moment in the UH/Marshall game Tuesday night when one of Keenum's receivers ran into a metal cart the band was using in the back of the end zone.

I pity anyone who was watching and saw the replay. His lower leg broke clean in half.

I heard the guy's mom was thinking about pressing charges against Marshall. I can see where she's coming from.

Patrick Edwards may not ever be the same. The doctors say he'll make a full recovery, but you never know about something like that.

I do know one thing: if that type of injury happened to me I wouldn't be smiling and giving everyone a thumbs up. I'd be screaming uncontrollably and crying like a small child and probably throwing up from the sight of my leg. Ugh...I'm getting sick just thinking about it.
