Here are the BCS Standings as of Week 9 in 2007:
1. Ohio State 9-0
2. Boston College 8-0
3. LSU 7-1
4. Arizona State 8-0
5. Oregon 7-1
6. Oklahoma 7-1
7. West Virginia 7-1
8. Virginia Tech 6-2
9. Kansas 8-0
10. South Florida 6-2
Here's how they ended up:
1. LSU (60) 12-2 1,620
2. Georgia (3) 11-2 1,515
3. USC (1) 11-2 1,500
4. Missouri 12-2 1,347
5. Ohio State 11-2 1,346
6. West Virginia 11-2 1,342
7. Kansas (1) 12-1 1,303
8. Oklahoma 11-3 1,139
9. Virginia Tech 11-3 1,096
10. Texas 10-3 962
Four teams fell completely out of the Top 10 - Boston College, Arizona State, Oregon and South Florida.
Four teams weren't in the Top 10 and ended up there - Texas and the 2,3 and 4 teams, Georgia, USC and Missouri.
Here's what the BCS Top 10 looks like tonight:
1. Texas 8-0
2. Alabama 8-0
3. Penn State 9-0
4. Oklahoma 7-1
5. USC 6-1
6. Georgia 7-1
7. Texas Tech 8-0
8. Florida 6-1
9. Oklahoma State 7-1
10. Utah 8-0
Here's my prediction. I think three teams - Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Utah will not be there when it's all said and done. So the question is...who will replace them?
I'll say.......Florida State, Michigan State and TCU. It's a long shot...but I'll check when it's over.
