HOW A TINY BABY SAVED FOOTBALL SEASON

My wife's 10 year reunion is this fall. In fact, it's on September 5.

And do you know what day that is?

Yes. The first Saturday of college football season.

We have a three week old in our house today and we were planning on taking her (via automobile) all the way down to Houston for the reunion.

But after having aforementioned baby in our house for a few weeks, my wife has decided to not travel that weekend after all.

I will say that I was in complete support of us making that trip and never said a word about how important that day was to me or how much I really wanted to stay home before she made the decision.

But I celebrated like a young boy on the last day of school when she gave the final verdict.

So instead of driving six hours (probably more like 8-10 with a baby) one way and missing every game on opening Saturday...I will get to sit on my couch like a lazy bum and watch games all day in the comfort of my own home in beautiful HD.

Man, I love having a baby.
