TEXAS IS A REAL HEAD-SCRATCHER

A week after handing a top-5 Nebraska team a home-loss, Texas comes back to Austin and plays a completely uninspired game against an athletic Iowa State team and loses.
A quick look at the top of the box score reveals that Texas dominated the game in certain areas. They had nine more first downs, 107 more net yards, 18 more plays...but keep scrolling down and the reason for the loss becomes apparent:
UT was outrushed 199 to 98. They turned the ball over four times. Done. That's all you need in a box score to lose.
It's the first time sincd 1997 that Texas has lost two in a row at home. Charles Woodson won the Heisman that year and the Cowboys were just two years removed from their 5th Super Bowl win (just to give some perspective as to how long ago that was).
If OU loses to Missouri, the Big 12 will officially be the Big 10. Thank goodness for Auburn.
