GATES HAVING TOUGH TIME AT SENIOR BOWL

ACU NFL-prospect Edmond Gates is suffering from the most frustrating hamstring injury of his life...maybe not the most painful, but definitly the most frustrating.

He missed his second straight practice at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL yesterday, being replaced by West Virginia's Jock Sanders in both practices.

Gates is one of just three NCAA Division II athletes invited to play in the senior bowl, and this is a huge opportunity to show his stuff against the top incoming talent.

Frustrating, but by no means the end of his professional career. I think he'll be just fine. You can't coach speed and he's got plenty of it.

The game is on Saturday. Not sure if he was able to practice today...
