Game On

The work is done. Some changes have been made, but hard work has been put in on the practice field and in the skull sessions. You could go up to the practice field every evening after practice and see young men still working on their own in their area of expertise whether it be firing off the line quicker on the snap, throwing and catching passes, or kicking the ball; even managers were volunteering their time on the field. Most of the Coahoma Bulldogs will go into their game #1 - in better shape and more importantly, #2 - with a better and stronger attitude.
Tonight it started off with a block party in front of the school where the community joined in on a pep rally for the boys featuring the Coahoma Varsity and JV Cheerleaders and a great show by the Coahoma Big Red Band and Flag Squad. Tomorrow the JV squad of Freshman will drive to Merkel in their first district game, and then Friday it will be Homecoming.
Game On Bulldogs.
