If

Coahoma’s game with Reagan County comes right down to that giant word, “if. If 1 of 3 possible TD catches had been made, if 1 of 3 big play mistakes had not been made on defense, or if the last pass thrown had not been made, Coahoma could have won the game instead of losing 25-22. Always that big word, “if. Maybe, if Coahoma’s running back Donnie Garcia had not left in the first quarter with a hyper-extended elbow, and if the starting fullback David Rodriquez had not left in the first quarter with a dislocated elbow, the outcome could have been different. Who knows; the areas Coahoma has to work on, the coaches already knew about and having been addressing each week slowly but surely.

On the brighter side, QB Blaine Kerby rushed 20 times for 164 yards scoring 3 touchdowns and 1 2pt conversion. Sophomore Corey Roberts filled in at RB and rushed for 55 yards in 6 carries, and backup Sophomore fullback P J Daylong ran the ball 9 times for 41 yards. All the rushing yards were compiled behind Coahoma’s big lineman that can only get better.
