Whooped

The only thing that comes to mind in Coahoma's loss to Roscoe is a old country whooping. Roscoe did everything right in almost every area of their game especially at nose guard position. Mr. Brown, you are a highlight film by yourself. Coahoma still is weak in the area of giving up the long ball, and Roscoe definitely took advantage of this weakness.
QB Blaine Kerby did rush again for the century mark. There was an improvement in the pass reception area also. Kerby passed for 87 yards have 9 passes completed in 14 attempts. Sophomore Fullback P J Daylong pulled in 5 of the passes for 51 yards, Domingo Rodriquez caught 2 passes for 20 yards. Sophomore RB Corey Roberts scored his first varsity TD with a 13 yard run. There was also a increase in defensive tackle assist; the Sophomore linebackers
Daylong, Roberts, and Michael Gonzalez are showing a steady improvement plus Coahoma registered its first interception of the season via Sophomore Keagan Hunt who had a recovered fumble earlier in the game.
If Coahoma is able to solve its defensive long ball problem and continues to improve its passing game to go with a steady running game, the win column should start showing a steady growth.
