Being human and knowing about human nature, I would suspect that most people don't want to "jinx" Colt McCoy and the Longhorns as a Missouri team - arguably as good as the team Texas just played - comes to town.
After all, it all came down very quickly - Texas beats OU, Texas ranked No. 1, Colt vaults to the top of the Heisman race ... boom, boom, boom!
But honestly, do you think anyone with a grin like that really believes in jinxes?
Just breathe, everyone ... and go to the chatroom and say something.
P.S. Just a couple of hours after I wrote this, guess who showed up on the cover of Sports Illustrated? I don't buy that jinx, either.
