DESTINY
I like that word.
I like it so much, I named one of my daughters Destiny.
I also like the phrase "control your own destiny."

Make no mistake about it, I can't control my Destiny (or my other daughter for that matter), but Colt McCoy and the rest of the Texas Longhorns control theirs.
That's the good news. The bad news is the Missouri Tigers will be coming into Austin madder than a ... well, bunch of wet Tigers because they no longer control their own destiny.
Chase Daniel will, of course, be wanting to show everyone what he didn't show them against Oklahoma State, while Colt will no doubt have another day where he'll have to be cool, calm and collected in the face of daunting odds.
How does he do that!? He's in the moment.
I liked the way Colt played one play at a time against the Sooners. He forgot about previous sacks and passes that didn't hit their target. That's a strong plus of his.
Colt obviously likes the big stage. He's 2-1 against OU (better than Vince Young) and could've been 3-0 without that fumble by Charles last year.
Well, it's primetime on ABC this Saturday, and the stage will - believe it or not - be even bigger.
I like Colt's chances of controlling his destiny this week.
Just wait until you have kids, though, dude!
