Colt McCoy is also a finalist for the 2008 Manning Award, honoring the nation's top quarterback.
This is a relatively new award (5 years old), and Vince Young won it in 2005.
The other finalists include the usual suspects: Sam Bradford (Oklahoma), Chase Daniel (Missouri), Nate Davis (Ball State), Graham Harrell (Texas Tech), Brian Johnson (Utah), Zac Robinson (Oklahoma State), Mark Sanchez (USC), Matthew Stafford (Georgia) and Tim Tebow (Florida).
With the Heisman finalist announcement waiting in the wings, that's FIVE awards Colt is up for so far this season.
