SITTIN' PRETTY
NOTICE: The slideshow page is updated with the OU game, but you need to know it doesn't show up properly in Internet Explorer 8, but fine on earlier versions or in Firefox. Looking into that gremlin now.
UPDATE: The two main stories on the wire today with Colt McCoy in them: 1) talk about how he and Tebow faltered in the Heisman race; and 2) talk about how Texas now dominates OU. The Horns are now called the Red River Rivalry Kings.
To the first one I say: "Like Colt cares. His team is undefeated and he just beat OU for the third time. To the second one, here's my impression of Colt doing an impression of the King himself: "Thank yuh. Thankyuhveramuch!"
Seriously, do you think any serious college player would seriously trade a Heisman for a National Championship? Seriously?
And one more thing. Sitting in third spot in the BCS Standings is right where Mack Brown wants to be. At this stage in the season, that bodes well for a full column of Ws at the end.
ONE LAST THING: For those of you who wondered about Colt's passing Saturday, not only did he have a cold, he injured his thumb on his throwing hand in the second quarter against the Sooners. It'll be fine for Missouri, but he said today he's been told he'll eventually lose his thumbnail.
