The Varsity Will Most Certainly Be Brought!

Am I the only one who remembers the Abilene High school shirts from last year? In case you don't they said "Hey Cooper, next year bring your varsity." What a slap in the face. I thought and still think that the shirt was classless and in poor taste, but then again I have pretty much come to expect that from the Eagles. Their fans, players, coaches, and students cry and complain and make excuses when they lose and then when they finally win they act like they are the greatest football team to ever play the game. I'll admit the Eagels handled the Cougars and beat us fair and square. But that was last year. This year let's not even give them any excuse to run their mouths! And when we win, we will do it with class because we are used to it! Go Coogs!

I do remember that. I also remember them stealing Nance's flag and waving it around in the stands torn. A few years back when we beat them and were leaving the stands some A-High fans said we still sucked and they should've won but....and then the excuses began. I thought how pathetic to still try and talk trash when you just lost! I was tempted to say something and then realized they were not even worth it and some Cooper fan next to me said "They win, they act hateful, they lose they act hateful" and as silly as it may sound it is true. True champions have class and earn respect and that is what Cougars are made of. Our talent speaks for itself.

Yes, I do remember those shirts. I thought they were the most classless shirts I have ever seen, but than this year they beat themselves. Their shirts this year so, "It's not your coaches fault". REALLY?? How hateful is that. When we lose its we made mistakes and realize that and than we fix them, when we win we realize taht there are still things we need work on and do it! Abilene High on the other hand their parents, student body, and staff are hatefull classless people. They live in the past and need to get over it. Whoever wins on friday will be proven the better team, UNTIL next year. Hey, A-High...stop living in the past and gets some class and than you can come and talk to us! We will see who is the better team win or lose. it will alwasy be the COOPER COUGARS!! GET Em COOGS!!
