For the first time since 1993, the Eagles are 0-3. I am hoping this losing streak stops tonight as we take on the Red Raiders of Tyler Lee at Texas Stadium. It won’t exactly be an easy task. Tyler Lee won the Class 5A Division I State Championship in 2004.
With Coach Fullen taking over the Defensive Coordinator, I expect to see some improvements. Our secondary needed a little help. Although Tyler Lee’s go-to game is the run, we can’t forget about the pass. A couple of touchdowns last week against Mesquite were because of bad communication in the pass coverage.
With mostly young players on the Varsity this year, I am sure that there will be a few butterflies because of playing in such a great stadium. I hope that we get over that quickly and get down to business. I want us to play the whole game tonight like we did for the first part of the game last week. If that is the case, our side of the stadium will be ecstatic for the duration of the game. I hope that there is a great turnout for this game to cheer on the Warbirds as we hit the field. GO EAGLES!!

Can we please have a new quarterback. Warrren's kid is looking pretty good on JV. Spence lackey is a loser, his daddy recruited all those cats for abilene high back when they were good. Does the name Frankie Robinson ring a bell Mr. Lackey, and something about a trip to Disneyland. Didn't Frankie go to Jefferson Middle School. I thought all kids that went to Jefferson went to Cooper, I must be Mistaken. Anyways enough about that. But the Eagles are not ever going to win with a wuss like Spence lackey at Quarterback. Come on Coach Warren bring the kid up, I got your back

is spens really that bad? i know he's no Potts, but he has to be decent for them to keep him in. if warren's boy is the best at QB then play him, forget age or experience best man should play.

I thought Abilene High was going to kill Cooper this year, but I'm thinking just the opposite now. Cooper's Zach Stewart threw for 475 yards last night againts Brownwood and already has 1656 yards on the season. Spens has only thrown 803 yards this season.
