Crane's Chad Aguilar won the 2A pole vault in Austin by more than a foot and finished third in the 110 hurdles.

Why do Abilene fans care, you ask? Chad, the younger brother of former ACU vaulter Cory Aguilar (and brother-in-law of national PV champ Angie Aguilar) signed to compete for the Wildcats next season.

EDIT: Nick Jones out of Amarillo Tascosa won the shot put today in Austin as well. He, too, is signed with ACU for both track and football.
