On the road again

Well, it's finally here.

Football, 2007.

I'm hitting the road for Weatherford in a few, and hope to bring you live updates as Cooper works to win its first season opener in three years at Kangaroo Stadium. That will all depend, though, on two things.

1.) Will I have access to a free wireless signal? If not, will my ClearWire tower work outside of Abilene?

2.) Will I be able to track the stats fast enough to give myself a few minutes of free time between snaps? Spradlin's offense tends to be pretty fast-paced, and it's been a while since I last had to track football stats -- something that tends to take a fair amount of focus.

If everything works out, I'll post a pre-game comment or two, so check back around 7 p.m. or so.
