Halftime
ACU should probably be winning this one by more, but Southeastern is putting on its best defensive showing of the season tonight.
Still, ACU's got a 13-3 advantage on first downs and has held the Storm to a net of 22 rushing yards and 101 total yards in the first half. The Wildcats, meanwhile, have 220 yards at the break.
Knox is leading ACU receivers with five catches for 56 yards and a score while Scott's got 11 carries for 58 yards. Malone has been efficient and is 11-of-23 for 136 yards and the one touchdown.
The jersey number 44 belonging to former ACU all-American Johnny Perkins, who recently died following complications from heart surgery, was retired at the half. A replica of that jersey was presented to members of Perkins’ family to a standing ovation from the Wildcat crowd. It is only the fourth jersey in ACU sports history to have been retired.
