School activities/honors: State Champion Social Studies team, State qualifier in UIL journalism, State qualifier in FCCLA all 4 years, National Honor Society, Student Council, One Act Play, Band, and FFA.

Future Plans: I am planning to major in journalism in the honors college at ASU in the Fall. I want to eventually get a doctorate in journalism or English. I also want to visit each of the seven continents at some point in my life.

What was the funniest thing, or the thing you will remember most, about high school? I think I will remember all of the trips. State UIL in Austin and all of our FCCLA trips were very memorable to say the least. I will also remember all the different people I've met in school, not only my classmates but also our teachers. They have definitely impacted my life.

What advice do you have for underclassmen to survive high school? Just do your best from beginning to end. If you give it all you've got, then you're a winner whether or not you get first place.
 
What will you have to tell your classmates at your 10-year high school reunion? I suppose I'll tell them about all the interesting places I've been and the people I've met in all my traveling.
