Prove Us Wrong, Part Deux

By Erin Steele

Sarah and I would like to personally thank everyone who has contributed ideas to Prove Us Wrong, but since we don't know where you live, we'll just have to send out a mass thank you instead. We're currently reading through all of the responses and since we're only semi-literate, this takes awhile. Once we finish, however, we plan to try out all of your ideas while some guy we hired off the street corner videotapes us. It's all very tawdry, but this is how dedicated we are to our craft and our readers. For real.

Of course, you still have two more days to submit ideas if you're so inspired, so let us know what you do for fun around these parts. We won't judge.

Probably too late for this post. Although, after almost 8 months of surfing the internet at work (because of lack of said work) I finally found a blog in Abilene that I agree with. Ok...here's my quick little rant:

Things to do in Abilene...My suggestion...MAN...Open things on Sunday or after 5 pm. It's tough to do anything except "workship god with our families" on Sundays when we'd rather be out pumping money into the local economy by eating out and shopping. But, if you work "normal" business hours, this is virtually impossible because things close. This is especially troubling if you're not actively religious and just want to go out for breakfast on Sunday somewhere that isn't IHOP.

A lack of professional job opportunities or ability to make a liveable wage is another blog I'd like to see posted on this site in the future (my humble suggestion)
