GBC - BA Weekend
The annual event BA Lake Retreat.
This would be the 4th or 5th year we have done this.
Basically similar to the bachelor party that took place in Gun Barrell City several months ago, we had a get together at the lake house.
This one changed the way we interacted at the lakehouse FOREVER
Also, I thought this medium would be a great way to let my parents know of the damage we did to their lake house before I tell them personally (there is always something).
Lets get into the weekend
We arrived about 7:00pm that was late.
We were greeted by 5 friends waiting for us. (normal)
We had a ski boat with us (not normal)
We ate like Kings (Normal)
We needed to do the dishes and while trying to locate a scrubber, I broke a panel off from the sink. Background, at my old house you could pull (a little hard I might add) on the drawer covering right beneath the sink and it would pivot out and you would put the scrubber there. I couldn't remeber if this house had that or not so I pulled on it and it came free and fell out of my hand and broke the snaps that held it on the pegs. Some glue would fix that up no problem. Sorry Mom.
We played poker for some time
I fell asleep on the couch. Normal at home and embarassing away
Day 2
Woke up had some coffee
Had some breakfast
Played cards till about noon
4 or 5 people went out on the boat and several of us stayed and watched fuzzy football (the reception down there sucks)
Boat people came back. Then the game was created.
Please see picture below for an accurrate dipiction

This game was as follows:
1. I place the innertube in the water a certain distance from the dock
2. Someone has chosen to try and throw the ball and make it land in the innertube from the distance I have set
3. Onlookers will then proceed to give the "thrower" odds that he can make it. Ex. 30 to 1 that he makes it and if he does then thats 30 seashells and if he misses it, that one seashell he owes the bettor.
4. The throw is made and the transaction takes place
5. The Fetchor (me in the diagram) is paid $0.25 seashells for every throw that is unsuccessful.
I made $7.25
I'm tired, I'll write more later.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it this year, June, you know if I was there none of this "destruction" would have happened.
You better not have ruined our future gatherings, Mayo.
