Time for the update on the status of the dumbest thing I ever committed too.

Seriously who did I think I was kidding? I have become a yo-yo in this weight loss gig.

However, I have the answer to all my prayers

I swear by it. You can lose a ton of weight on this thing as long as you don't mind eating meat, cheese, bacon, turkey, chicken and drinking water.

I have now lost a grand total of 23 pounds since I started this diet. You remember in February sometime ago.

Since then I have run a 5k and then . . . nothing

My forecasting had to be adjusted for this new diet. By the time of the highly anticipated wedding, I will have hopefully lost 48 pounds. For those who need a reference, that is about the weight of a 5 yr old.

I'm averaging a pound a day. If I can keep that up I will be at MY wedding weight by the end of July.

Enough about diets, they bore me but give me something to write about. Let's talk about the Rangers, holy cow these guys just popped on the scene. This Hamilton kid looks pretty sharp.

My fantasy team dropped 20 points in 4 days. This is almost impossible, unless you are the Mayo's Maidens. There is one team in our league has as many points as I do in just my batting category. Oh yeah I'm in second to last place.

Thursday was a milestone in my first attempt to be a father, my daughter lost her first tooth. Well she didn't lose it but it came out of her mouth. Oh wait, then she did lose it. Man I was upset. Probably didn't need to be but this was my child's first tooth. You only lose your first tooth once. Something will have to be worked out with the tooth fairy.

Oh yeah, that means the tooth fairy had to come. I'm not sure what the tooth fairy will pay. Since this is the first tooth there should be some sort of premium and money. However, the tooth was lost and she wrote a note to the lady with out any help from us spelling out words phonetically. For instance "from" was spelled "frum", "tooth" was spelled correct which blew me away. "am" was spelled "aiyme" which in Texas sounds right.

Well enough about that stuff, I need to get back to work.

I think I'll pick up running again but I just don't have the energy. I know I can run far but now I have to run it in 29 minutes so I can hold my head high at the wedding.
