Diets are like Pulling Teeth

Time for the update on the status of the dumbest thing I ever committed too.

Seriously who did I think I was kidding? I have become a yo-yo in this weight loss gig.

However, I have the answer to all my prayers

It’s done.

Excuses are like Bellybuttons

Yesterday I was supposed to run about 2 miles. However, Mother Nature had other plans.

It snowed in Abilene on March 3rd. Write it down!!!

Stupid Diets

Last time we spoke, I was having Shake and Bake for dinner.

I'll pick up from there.

We have shake and bake and that was great. So in order to justify the 2 pieces of chicken I just consumed, I needed to go workout

GBC - BA Weekend

The annual event BA Lake Retreat.

This would be the 4th or 5th year we have done this.

Basically similar to the bachelor party that took place in Gun Barrell City several months ago, we had a get together at the lake house.

This one changed the way we interacted at the lakehouse FOREVER

His name is Dalton

Let’s get this out and in the open first, I am a Romosapien. I was teetering a couple of weeks ago and made the decision along with my wife to anoint Romo the new quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

Until then he was just a player to be named later, but now I am on board and will accept his play with support and admiration.

The last quarterback I gave my support to was Quincy Carter, until he started doing drugs. I have my fingers crossed on Romo, not going that route (pronounced “root)

But more importantly, look a this comparison

I'm Flossie

The Bachelor Party stuff was getting boring for me to type.

Moving on to bigger and brighter waters.

Since everyone is an avid reader of my blog and have kept up with it since its inception, I am suborned when its comes to "trying to stick it to the man"

TV, will not own me.

Poker on Wednesdays

I missed my poker game on Wednesday. I usually miss this game but for some reason I thought this was going to be the one where my friends would throw in their jewelry, watches and anything of value. I knew I was going to have the cards.

However, I sat at home and played with the kids. And by play, I mean took my oldest daughter for everything she owned (stuffed animals included) and my other little one didn't even have the heart to flip her cards over so she would put them in her mouth.

The Ride

Why in the world would I title a post "The Ride"? Is this going to be about a special drive around the loop (17mins is the shortest amount of time it has taken me). Or is this about a family drive to Chicago (14 hours from Dallas).

None of the above. This is about a song. One song that I have in my possession and no one else does. "The Ride."

Memory Lane (get comfortable, if I explain this well enough it could take a while):

The Life and Times of a Media Consultant

I can't give out that kind of information.

However, I do try to get out more often than not. So to get you somewhat aquainted with me, here it goes:

1. I was born in Dallas (real Dallas)
2. I married my best friend (that is so lame but its true)
3. The Mavericks are a way of life in my house
4. I do not play basketball
5. As much as I love Don Nelson is as much as I hate Golden State
6. My car has no air conditioning (by choice)
