SMC 2006 Pre-Season Rankings TOP 5 for Division 1 Region 1 are:
1. Garden City----------District 1
2. Meadow---------------District 4
3. Highland--------------District 3
4. Fort Davis------------District 1
5. Wellman-Union-----District 4
Remember under the new alignment, two teams from each district will advance to the playoffs giving all four Regions a total of 6 playoff teams. District 2 of Division 1 Region 1 is a BYE. SMC wishes good football to all 15 teams that make up DIVISION 1 REGION 1.
