Brownwood: Isaiah Cisneroz
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
Event: Computer Applications
How long you’ve been competing: I've been competing in this competition for 4 years now.
What’s the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: In computer applications, not only does one have only thirty minutes to complete a plethora of excel, access, and word data but it is also very intimidating to be in a room with other contestants that are all working to be the best.
First thing you’ll do when you win: I will thank my coach, Doris Woolery, for giving me the opportunity to prove myself to the rest of the state and I will thank God for giving me the ability to do it all.
Past honors in the event: This will be my third year to qualify for state. In 2005 I placed 2nd in state in 4A and in 2006 I placed 1st in state in 4A.
Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: I am a national DECA qualifier for my 2nd year in a row. I am treasurer for my National Honor Society. I am a Fellowship of Christian Athletes officer and I am in various youth activity and health boards.
College plans: I plan to attend Baylor University in the fall and double major in Management Information Systems and Film and Digital Media.
Birthplace: Brownwood, Texas
One thing your parents, a sibling or even a best friend might not know about you: When I was younger I wanted to pursue a degree in the medical field or even Greek philosophy.
