How long you’ve been competing: Mathematics - 1 year; Calculator - 3 years

What’s the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: Mathematics - Because I'm new at this event, I'm always worried that I'm going to spend too much time on one problem and waste all of my time. It's hard to balance my time. Calculator - Doing the "punchers" because you have to go so fast that it is really easy to mess up.

First thing you’ll do when you win: Call my sister, Crystal.

Past honors in the event: Calculator - Regional Team Qualifier '06, 1st place District '07, 1st place team '07, State Team Qualifier '07

Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: I am an officer in SADD, NHS, FBLA, Math Club. I am just a member of Student Council, FCA, and Science Club, and I also participate in Literary Criticism for UIL.

College plans: Honestly, I don't know yet, but God will provide the answer.

One thing your parents, a sibling or even a best friend might not know about you: Wow, tough... Some people know this about me, but I really like watching old Classic movies. My favorites are Singin' In The Rain, Oklahoma!, and Bringing Up Baby.
