How long you've been competing in UIL: I've been competing since the 7th grade

What's the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: Wating for the results of the test. I'm always nervous about the outcome!

First thing you'll do when you win: Call my parents while jumping up and down and running around!

Past honors in the event: I have no previous honors because I have not done this well ever. I was in Spelling and Vocabulary in Jr. High, but never advanced this far!

Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: For my extracurricular activity, I'm in Boy Scouts and just received the rank of Eagle Scout in late 2007. I'm in no other UIL events.

College plans: To go to Cisco Jr. College in Abilene for my basics and the rest is undecided.

Birthplace: McAllen, Texas

One thing your parents, a sibling or even a best friend might no know about
you: I LOVE to read mystery and fictional books. I don't know why, but I love a good mystery and love fictional stories.
