How long you've been competing in UIL: Since I was in elementary, but since I'm a freshman, this is my first year in News writing.

Past honors in the event: 1st place-Haskell Invitational Meet, 4th place Idolou Invitational, 1st place at District, 3rd place Regional

Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: Basketball, Track, Cross Country, Tennis, Golf. Other UIL events- Poetry, persuasive speaking, headline writing

College plans: To major in Exercise and Sports Studies/Kinesiology at Tech to hopefully become a basketball coach.
