How long you've been competing in UIL: This is my second year of high school UIL. I competed in elementary and junior high UIL every year.

What's the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: The preparation and considering what could happen.

First thing you'll do when you win: I will most likely cry and fall against the nearest sturdy object.

Past honors in the event: 3rd in District 2007, 6th in Region 2007, 1st in District 2008, 4th in Region 2008

Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: Current Issues and Events, Ready Writing, Science, Mathematics, and Number Sense; I am in the Roby High School Band also.

College plans: I'm still unsure, but leaning towards Texas Tech.

One thing your parents, a sibling or even a best friend might not know about you: Music makes everything okay. It keeps me relaxed.
