How long you've been competing in UIL: I started poetry in the 4th grade.

 What's the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: It is completely subjective. It all depends on the judges' opinions.

 Past honors in the event: This is my first year of high school, but when I was in elementary school I placed first every year, and in junior high I placed second each year.

 Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: I am involved in basketball, one act play, and track and field, where I am also a regional qualifier in pole vault.

 Birthplace: Abilene, TX, but I have lived in Albany, TX my whole life.
